Drum Solo in 17/4

Last year, while I was on tour in Japan, we recorded some of the shows. Here I am playing a solo in 17/4 on Lionel Loueke’s tune, “Even Teens”.  I’ve been playing in Lionel’s trio along with Massimo Biolcati on bass for 18 years now and we still keep surprising each other. Taking risks is one of the most exciting thing in life and with this band we definitely do that a lot. Enjoy this video 🙂
