We had a great week in Budapest at the Ferenc Liszt Academy and Bartok Conservatory, where I was doing intensive masterclasses every day from 11am to 5pm for 4 days!  Great students, great vibe and lots of fun. Big thanks to Geroly Tamas, Hollo Aurel, Bacso Kristof, Olah Tzumo, Karmacsi Zita and my gear family, Zildjian cymbals, DW-drums, Remo drumheads and VicFirth Sticks!

At the Zildjian Factory

Last year I had the pleasure to visit again the Zildjian factory. As I was there, I picked up some new cymbals. One thing led to another, and before I realized it, I was recording a new video featuring my new and my custom made cymbals . Check it out below:

FN Plays the DW Design Series!

Incredibly excited to share this news! Earlier this year I was in Oxnard to record a promo video for DW Drums and the footage was just released. I was testing the DW Frequent Flyer kit and sure enough there was no surprise to realize once again that DW came up with something incredible. Light weight but full pro sound!
Please take a look at it here:

Sept. 16

The ever-creative pianist Kenny Werner’s latest album on Half Note Records is called Coalition, and it takes its name from Werner’s new multinational quintet. The band consists of guitarist Lionel Loueke, alto saxophonist Miguel Zenón, well known as leaders and sidemen, plus Danish saxophonist Benjamin Koppel and Hungarian drummer Ferenc Nemeth.
